Come join us for our seminar that will bring you up to date on residential plumbing systems as well as the inside scoop on septic tanks and wells. The session by Kenny Hart on Plumbing Systems will include specific pipe issues as well as new water heater technologies. He will explore the most common DWV system defects and demonstrate how a professional plumber inspects major plumbing fixtures. Our afternoon speaker, Martin Thompson will enlighten attendees about the issues home inspectors should be concerned with when the home has a septic tank and or a well water system.

Speakers:

Kenny Hart

Kenny Hart is a second generation Mater Plumber and Mechanical Contractor. He has more than 30 years of experience in the mechanical fields. He served on the Technical Committee for ASHI for 3 years. He has served on the Membership Committee and Standards Committee as well. He is the President of VAREI. He has been a speaker at annual ASHI Inspection World for 5 years. He is currently the Vice President of the Hampton Roads ASHI Chapter. He brings great incite and humor to all of his seminars.

Martin A. Thompson

Martin Thompson is the Supervisor of the Onsite Sewage & Water Section of the Fairfax County Health Department. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University and has been working for the Fairfax County Health Department since 1994. His specialty is in the regulation of Private Septic Systems and Water Supplies, as well as Milk Pasteurization and Protection.
